Biography of Amit Kushwaha

Amit Kushwaha, a renowned social activist and inspiring personality, hails from Motihari district in Bihar. Born in 1991, he completed his early education in Bihar and earned a degree in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Amit believes that education is not merely a piece of paper but a transformative force that shapes lives. To him, true education lies in enhancing one’s skills and implementing knowledge in real-life situations.

His dedication to social service was evident during his tenure (2012-13) as a Block-Level President under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA). He actively advocated for timely wages for laborers, securing their rightful payments, and earning strong recognition in his community.

In late 2014, Amit ventured into the financial sector, aiming to strengthen the economic conditions of the underprivileged by facilitating bank loans. Over a decade in this field, he emphasized the importance of integrity in operations, promoting honest employees in the system.

A staunch advocate of youth empowerment, Amit has donated blood 33 times, spreading awareness and inspiring others to contribute to society. He also organized numerous seminars and large-scale events based on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, and Dr. BR Ambedkar, motivating thousands of young individuals to take steps toward self-improvement.

Amit’s profound inspiration came from the Jagriti Yatra, a journey encouraging youth to embrace entrepreneurship and drive societal changes. He believes it provides young people with the strength to navigate challenges while learning from accomplished individuals.

On February 9, 2021, Amit founded Sarvakshi Financial Services Limited, with the vision of providing loans to empower people and improve their quality of life. The company offers diverse loan products accessible across India.

In October 2024, he established the Lok Kalyan Foundation, organizing the Kushwaha Adhikar Rally, advocating for key demands such as:

• Implementing the Maurya Regiment.
• Allocating OBC reservation proportional to the Kushwaha community’s population.
• Reviewing Bihar’s caste-based survey to determine the percentage of Kushwaha (Koeri) caste.
• Fully implementing 65% OBC reservation.
• Addressing violence against the Kushwaha community.
• Installing statues of Emperor Ashoka and preserving Ashoka Stambh in every district of Bihar.

Amit’s upcoming landmark project is the Champaran Satyagraha 2025: Panchayati Raj Conference, aiming to revive Mahatma Gandhi’s Gram Swaraj principles and modernize the Panchayati Raj system. Focused on respecting human rights, fostering rule of law, and enhancing transparency in public administration, this initiative reflects his commitment to societal transformation.
